This Spring we reached out to Alex Levine of The Gaslight Anthem and his apparel company, Tiger Cuts. Inspired by vintage tattoo and barbering imagery, and armed with the goal of creating a dapper modern aesthetic Alex and his partner Phil Carr founded Tiger Cuts in late 2013. In the past two years they’ve designed and released a number of t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, patches, buttons and (most recently) men’s grooming accessories. The brand is named after a barber shop Alex had always planned on opening if The Gaslight Anthem never broke out. Now, his band is bigger than ever and the name has been given to this ever-growing brand.

Alex loves his leather jackets. We were thrilled that the guys at Tiger Cuts liked our work and wanted to feature us in their 2015 lookbook. We sent them a few jackets, which Alex instantly fell in love with. In fact, after wearing them for the lookbook photoshoot, he brought them on Gaslight’s spring “Get Hurt” tour. Needless to say, it was really awesome seeing our jackets on-stage with one of our favorite bands. The shows were incredible too, I personally managed to see them at their final stop in Columbus. The band was tight, the energy was overwhelmingly positive and Alex was killin’ it on stage in his Cow Puncher.

The lookbook is out now, as is their 2015 collection of shirts, hoodies and accessories. The lookbook also accompanies the launch of their re-designed website and the rollout of an American webstore later this year. Tiger Cuts have been awesome to work with, and we love the way their shirts look under our jackets.

These are just a few of the photos from their lookbook, which were shot by the incredible Greg Pallante. You should seriously check out his Instagram. Its full of some really incredible shots from concerts, commercial shoots and more.
